There are two ways to sleep best: on your back and on your side. If you sleep on your back, the pillow should be as low as possible. When lying on the side, the back likes the axis line to be straight - the spine is not bent and the shoulder is pulled to the ear. Therefore, the mattress must be able to form appropriate depressions under the sleeper. Mattresses that could do this perfectly are expensive.

The worst thing is to sleep on your stomach, because in this position the position of the head contributes to breathing and blood circulation problems. From an orthopedic point of view, this is the most difficult position for the whole spine to accept, you have to try to get rid of it.

Do not sleep on a mattress that is too small, split, bumpy. There must be a sufficiently large and flat base. Hard or soft - it's a matter of taste, but harder is preferable. If a person is healthy, lying on his back, he can sleep well even on an absolutely solid foundation. Turning to the side, of course, immediately there will be a completely different situation. But a person will not sleep like that for a long time and will look for the neutral position again.
